Hospital Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital-based services from three main sites – the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester – as well as some community-based services. We provide a wide range of services to a population of 592,158 people in Worcestershire as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.l Pick-up/drop off: There are several drop-off spaces outside the main entrances. Please ensure you do not overstay the time limit as you may be subject to penalties. Blue badge holder parking is free, please ensure you clearly display your permit in your windscreen. Free parking for those with the greatest need: In line with national NHS car parking guidance NHS trusts, we offer free parking to those with the greatest need, which is defined as the following groups: Disabled people A disabled person is a holder of a valid Blue Badge attending hospital as a patient or visitor. Disabled patients and visitors receive free parking for the duration of their attendance at, or visit to, the hospital. Frequent outpatient attenders Parking will be provided free to all outpatients who attend hospital for an appointment at least three times within a month and for an overall period of at least three months. A ‘month’ is defined as a period of 30 days. Parents of sick children staying overnight The parent of a child in hospital overnight is a parent or guardian of a child or young person, under 18 years of age, who is admitted as an inpatient at hospital overnight. They receive free parking between the hours of 7.30pm and 8am while visiting the child. This would apply to a maximum of two vehicles. Other car parking concessions Reduced car park fees are also available for patients and close relatives in certain circumstances which may require regular or long-term visits.
