Ecumenical Centre

The Ecumenical Centre (open 10am-12noon, Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays) is a valuable centre for the community occupying a unique position overlooking the Kingfisher Shopping Centre. Located on the second floor and accessed by stairs or a lift. Many local charities and groups hire the facilities in the Centre and along with clubs provided by Emmanuel Church, there is something that covers all areas of the ‘Five ways to inner wellbeing’; connect - meet with others, keep learning - try something new, be active - engage in exercise take notice - come and have some quiet time, reflect and give thanks give - help out in practical ways or give your time by listening to others. The Ecumenical Centre is a wonderfully flexible building offering spaces of different sizes to accommodate a range of events, such as meetings/forums, exhibitions, training days, exercise classes, children's parties, funerals and wakes, baptisms and much more.
